Dr. Erica N. Francois, DNP APRN is a native of Tampa, FL. She is a high school graduate of Forest Lake Academy located in Apopka, FL. She was accepted into the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2005. Her nursing career included working in the neuroscience and trauma intensive care units.
Erica continued to pursue higher education in nursing by receiving a Master of Science in Nursing in 2012 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013.
Upon graduation, she began working in vascular surgery for three years. Erica then continued her career as a nurse practitioner at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL, where she changed her focus and specialty to bariatric surgery and weight management.
She has helped hundreds of bariatric patients experience lifestyle transformation. After two years, she was promoted as Lead Advanced Practice Provider of ambulatory and specialty services.
